Important information on wood
Impregnation
The wood used for playgrounds is pressure and dip-impregnated. This results in long-lasting protection of the wood against insects, fungi, rot and the effects of permanent contact with soil and water. This means that the wood is pre-treated, but still needs to be treated with an external treatment.
Strange raid
A peculiarity of softwoods such as pine or spruce is resin spills. The resin can easily be removed with a mild solvent or a knife. Pressure-impregnated products may show a greenish film, which is the result of a reaction between the impregnant and the resin. This can be removed with a cloth or sponge. As a natural material, wood is susceptible to fungi and mould. These infestations are related to the moisture content of the wood, especially treated wood. Fungi are not harmful to the wood and do not affect its durability.
Knots and longitudinal cracks in the wood
Wood is a natural product and every tree is different. It may have small cracks and knots. However, as far as garden furniture is concerned, they are not subject to limitations in terms of either quantity or size. According to DIN 4074, wood statics are not susceptible to cracks smaller than 1/4 of the length or thickness of the material.
Keeping the wood in good condition
Wood in the garden is exposed to atmospheric factors such as UV rays, rain and temperature variations. These factors weaken the wood's protective layer, which is why it should be treated annually with an outdoor product.

What are the dimensions of the product folded on a pallet?
The playgrounds are packaged on pallets measuring 230 cm x 80 cm (L x W).

Is it normal for the wood to have knots, cracks?
Wood is a natural product and every tree is different. It may have small cracks and knots. However, when it comes to garden furniture, there are no limits to both quantity and size.
According to DIN 4074, wood statics are not susceptible to cracks of less than 1/4 of the length or thickness of the material. -
Wood impregnation - what does it mean?
The wood is impregnated by immersion. Immersing the wood in the impregnant has an advantage over methods of lubricating or spraying the raw material - the substance penetrates all the cracks on the surface of the piece. Thanks to this, the wood will be much better protected against attack by fungi and insects that inhabit it.
Treated wood should be additionally protected with an opaque agent (e.g. varnish stain).

What timber do you use for your playgrounds?
We use coniferous wood, mainly pine and spruce from natural and sustainable cultivation, which ensures exceptional durability in outdoor use.

There has been a strange build up in the playground, is this normal?

The playground is pre-protected against insects, fungus and rot, but still needs to be painted in-house.

What is the thickness of the boards?
The floors and platforms are made of 28mm thick planks, while the walls and canopies are made of 18mm thick planks.

What are the dimensions of the structural elements?
The structural elements of the house and tower are made of 8x8cm scantling, the top beam of the swing is made of 9x9cm scantling, while the swing legs are made of 7x7cm scantling.
Horizontal beams, e.g. under the floor, platform, are made of 4x8cm scantlings.

What length is the slide?
The slide is specified as 2.5m. This is a commercial value. The slide is suitable for a platform height of 125 cm. It is possible to connect water to the slide.

Is installation complicated?
No, assembly is very simple. The playground is shipped in large prefabricated pieces that simply need to be joined together. The assembly instructions are very precise, pictorial, the screws are marked, which makes assembly very easy.

How to fix the square to the ground?
- Level the substrate
- Isolate the pegs (legs of the square) from the ground. This can be done in several ways:
- by placing a square, e.g. on paving stones
- Lubrication of the undersides of the dowels with foundation sealant
- fixing of the square on special metal anchors - included in the set - Set up the playground
- Drive the sharpened stakes next to the pegs and then screw them into the legs of the playground toe with screws.

Screws, nuts and washers are secured with plastic caps, so that children are not exposed to cuts, scratches and other unpleasantness that can result from contact with metal elements.

Wir waren im Internet lange auf der Suche nach "dem besonderen Häuschen/Spielplatz" für unsere Tochter, bis wir per Zufall auf dieses Häuschen gestoßen sind, was unter anderem an der Internetpräsenz der Firma "Meblogrod" begründet liegt.
Die Abwicklung des gesamten Projektes erfolgte auf höchstem professionellen Niveau. Für Rückfragen waren Sie stets erreichbar und geduldig. Alle Versprechen wurden eingehalten und sogar noch getoppt. Die gesamte Ware wurde professionell und sicher verpackt, trotz der wahnsinnigen Entfernung (knapp 1000km) ist sie ohne Beschädigungen bei uns angekommen. Jede Schraube wurde sortiert verpackt, sodass eine Zuordnung sehr einfach war. Die Bezahlung und Lieferung verlief problemlos, die versprochene schnelle Lieferung wurde eingehalten ( innerhalb von zwei Werktagen war die Ware in Deutschland).
Der Aufbau war zu zweit in ca. 6 Stunden erledigt. Die Aufbauanleitung war verständlich erklärt und gut bebildert, sodass es auch hier keinerlei Beanstandungen gibt.
Die Qualität des Holzes hat uns mehr als überrascht, da sehr hochwertiges Holz verwendet wird. Keinerlei Absplitterungen oder ähnliches. Das reichhaltige Zubehör ermöglicht eine vielseitige Beschäftigung, sodass keine Langeweile aufkommt. Hier sind der Phantasie keine Grenzen gesetzt. Eine Erweiterung ist jederzeit möglich.
Der telefonische Kontakt sowie der Kontakt per Mail war zuverlässig, geduldig, informativ, freundlich, schnell und mehr als kundenorientiert. Sowas habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt und dies spricht für die hohe Qualität Ihrer Firma.

The cottage is of very good quality - all the elements fit well together, the construction is very stable and solid, the assembly by two people goes smoothly and pleasantly - it can be done in 1 day. There is a lot more work to do with painting, but if you want to get a nice and long-lasting effect, you need an extra 2-3 days. A solid hammer is needed to drive the anchors.
I would highly recommend the product and the company - the service and logistics were faultless. The house was at my place within a week of ordering - as declared. If anyone is interested, I can send photos of my colour interpretation.
If you are thinking of building a similar structure yourself - my advice: don't do it. Well, unless you are an amateur or professional carpenter. But the design is well thought out and complete.

The workmanship is very good, the wood is dry and not warped, all the boards are straight and the pieces are screwed together neatly. Although I bought it in winter, I think there will be no problem with assembling the house in spring. Lots of cool extras as a surprise free of charge, the whole makes a very good impression. I recommend, well worth the price.

I've always dreamed of a playhouse like this but in my day there were no such wonders. I was able to buy one for my grandson instead. The house is really very nice, big inside. It has steps and not a ladder. This is much safer for the child. It is made up of large elements, made of good materials. Interesting fact: you can connect a water hose to the slide. In the summer this will certainly be an additional attraction. The telescope is also a great idea, as is the wheel and cross.
